When we received the Barney we were all disappointed in the size of the doll. The pictures were misleading and I don't recall a size reference being part of the add, like some of the other dolls we were comparing it to. So I expected a larger doll based on the pictures and received an 11" or 12" doll. That being said, it didn't matter to our almost 2 year old grand daughter who adores Barney. It was just the right size to her and I quess with the way she tends to just take off and run with it in her arms, a bigger doll might cause her to be more unstable. So the choice turned out to be OK in the end, but I do beleive the description of the product should include a physical size reference.

my three year old daughter loves this DVD. it is extremely entertainig and keeps her glued to the TV. she especially likes the music. the songs are new and different.she just cant get enough of it. my two year old loves it as well. This is a really great Barney episode. Its a high quality production and my two-year-old loves it. She especially likes Baby Bop's attention to her yellow blankie, and when she rides in on her tricycle. My two-year-old acts out each scene as she watches it. If you're only buying 2 Barney DVDs, get this one and Barney - Movin' and Groovin'.

With a little help from Barney and a big imagination, the children enjoy a fun-filled day at "Baby Bop's School" where every lesson includes unexpected surprises. Join Ashley, Hannah, Robert and Jeff as they sing an alphabet song, read in Baby Bop's book center, eat macaroni and cheese, and bounce into gym class. When the day is just about done, settle in with Baby Bop and her "blankey" for an afternoon nap. It's an unforgettable day of learning and laughter.

Awesome product. Good for lanugage stimulation and utterance enhancement while getting dressed and daily reference throughout the day. My son loves looking at his shoes and pointing at his favorite characters. This opens the door for singing, dancing, etc. Plus,...THEY KEEP HIS SHOES TIED!!!!!!!!!

Bow Biters - Barney Feature

• Bite Your Bows to Lock Your Laces

Lock your laces in place with these Bow Biters, which is a small plastic device that goes over the laces while displaying the grinning head of Barney. Directions: Thread laces through holes, with Madagascar facing forward. Tie knot as you would normally, and pull laces firmly across Bow Biter opening. Laces will lock into place. Continue tying bow, pulling firmly until Bow Biter bites and locks laces into place. To untie, pull Bow Biter's top half straight up until it locks in open position. Simply untie bow.

My twenty month old daughter really enjoys watching this. There are actually two videos on this dvd and all the songs are good ones. It has a lot of features compared to more recent dvds. I especially like the jukebox feature that allows me to select one or a few songs to play at a time. There are songs about washing hands, brushing teeth, and eating healthy snack as well as toddler favorites about animals and dancing and clapping hands. Yes, it's Barney, but my daughter really connects with the singing and dancing. Just be careful, you'll end up with these songs in your head! Barney, BJ, and Baby Bop present some of their favorite songs, rhymes, and stories.

I bought this Barney Stuffed animal for my 1 year old last year. It is STILL in great condition, so quality is there. I received it very fast and my daughter just adored it. She still carries it around with her everywhere. We were a little surprised at how small it was, but that's our fault, as we didn't carefully read the description where it gave the size as being 8". But, our daughter loved it anyway. I highly recommend this product for any child that loves barney, as it is one of the very few barney toys on the market that doesn't cost a fortune!
